         In the winter quarters of even years, I teach an advanced wave-modeling course entitled "Mathematical Models of Near-Shore Phenomena" that is cross listed as ECEGR 4740, MATH 4740, and MEGR 4740. The course includes a week-long experience in Chile where we learn from Chilean experts and experience Chilean culture firsthand. I hope to teach this class again in the winter of 2024 (with spring break 2024 spent in Chile). Please email me at carterj1@seattleu.edu if you might be interested in taking this course.
