In
a laboratory or shop setting, it is important to be
aware of your surroundings. Before doing any work,
familiarize yourself with (1) where you are, (2) where
and how to get help, (3) how to help yourself if you
had minor injuries, (4) how to get help from others
if there is something more serious, and (5) how to
communicate to others about your situation and your
exact location (access to 1st floor Engineering Building
is not intuitive).
