Exam Calculator Policy

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has adopted a policy whereby only certain makes and models of calculators are allowed during examinations. This is to provide a level playing field for all students and preclude devices with large text storage and communications capabilities.

The approved calculators are listed, which follows the policy of NCEES, administrator of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE) and Principles and Practice exams (PE) for Professional Engineers.
