Travel Information

Here is a map of the Seattle University and vicinity. It shows the building that the talks will be held (Harding), the Silver Cloud Hotel, the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station, and many of the restuarants and coffee shops in the region.

The primary airport serving Seattle is the Seattle-Tacoma Internation Airport. Seattle University is on Capitol Hill, about mile East of the downtown Seattle area.

TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT - There is a light rail option Link Light Rail from the airport that will take you to within walking distance of the Silver Cloud Hotel and the Seattle University Campus. The West Lake Station is in the downtown shopping district about 1.2 miles from the Silver Cloud Hotel, and the Capitol Hill Station is about 0.5 miles from the Silver Cloud Hotel.

Alternatively, you can get a ride to your hotel by a taxi, ride-share service, or by the commercial van service Shuttle Express.

CAMPUS PARKING - If you are driving and need to park your car on campus at SU, use the paid parking lot on the corner of 12th Ave and Marion St. There are kiosks at the parking lot to pay. The rates are as follows:

Hours Price
2 $6
3 $8
4 $10
6 $12
24 $15
If you are staying at the hotel, it would probably be more convenient to leave any car at the hotel and walk.
