$ Store Activity Name:   Pinball Analysis
Concepts / Skills addressed:   addition, averages, etc.
Approximate Grade Range:   2nd - 6th ?
Materials:   hand held pinball game
The General Idea:   Try shooting all five (or whatever number you have) balls and keep track of the score.  Do this several times.  What's an average score?  Do you get better with time?  Some of the cups (things that catch the balls) are assigned more points than others.  Why are the points distributed the way they are?   How many rounds would you likely have to play in order to get a total of, pick a number, 1,000,000?
