| The General Idea:
|
At the dollar store you can
often find sets of little tools, plastic hammers, saws, etc.
These are usually very small. How small would be the person for
whom this was the right size tool? Bring in a real hammer (Adult
supervision required?) and let them compare the lengths of the real and
toy hammers. They can then use mathematics (ratios) to determine
how tall the person using the toy hammer should be.
