Geology in Iceland--spring quarter 2007
Last spring I taught an introductory geology course that included a 2 week fieldtrip in Iceland. Click on the above link to view pictures of our trip.
My present research focuses on deciphering past environments in the Bering Strait region. Throughout my education I have worked in many arctic and alpine regions including: Siberia, Kamchatka, Alaska, the Canadian high arctic, Iceland, Norway, Patagonia and the Himalayas.
